Jeremy Turner named in NPR Music’s Favorite Songs of 2014

The Bear and the Squirrel, an original composition written for yMusic Ensemble, was listed in NPR Music’s Favorite Songs of 2014. The piece, inspired by the John Osborne’s Look Back in Anger, has been performed at Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. It appears on yMusic’s second album Balance Problems (New Amsterdam Records-2014), and features other compositions by Nico Muhly, Sufjan Stevens, Marcos Balter, Timo Andres, Andrew Norman, and Mark Dancigers.
